Folonko Sports Foundation was founded from a passion for creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and helping people discover their full potential through sports, wellness, and leadership.

As a mother, community advocate, and lifelong believer in the power of sports, I have witnessed firsthand how access to the right support system can change the trajectory of a person's life. I have also seen the challenges many families face—whether they are single mothers, working parents, low-income households, immigrant families, or individuals simply searching for a place to belong and thrive.

What began as a commitment to youth sports quickly evolved into a larger vision: creating pathways that empower people both on and off the field. We recognized that true community impact extends beyond athletic development. It includes supporting women's health and wellness, providing leadership opportunities, strengthening families, developing young leaders, and ensuring that every individual has access to opportunities that help them succeed.

Women's empowerment remains at the heart of our mission. I am deeply passionate about creating spaces where women and girls feel supported, valued, and encouraged to invest in their physical health, mental well-being, leadership potential, and personal growth. Through initiatives like Kick It With Mama and our expanding wellness and sports programs, we are helping women build confidence, foster meaningful connections, and prioritize themselves without guilt.

At Folonko Sports Foundation, we believe that when youth are empowered, women are supported, and families are strengthened, entire communities thrive.

Today, our work spans youth development, player development, women's empowerment, health and wellness initiatives, leadership programs, underserved sports club development, and community engagement efforts throughout the Greater Seattle region.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we remain committed to breaking down barriers, expanding access, and creating opportunities for every individual to reach their full potential.
