🕊️ In Loving Memory of Cheikh Touré 🕊️

Today, we mourn the tragic loss of Cheikh Touré, a young athlete whose passion, dedication, and dreams mirrored the spirit of so many we serve.

Cheikh’s passing is not only heartbreaking it’s a painful reminder of the growing crisis young talents across Africa and beyond are facing. Too many gifted players, full of hope and potential, are being lost to unsafe conditions, lack of resources, and the harsh realities that come with chasing opportunity without proper support.

At Folonko Sports Foundation, our mission has always been to bridge that gap to create safer pathways, mentorship, and visibility for youth athletes so no more dreams are lost in silence.

We send our deepest condolences to Cheikh’s family, teammates, and community. His light will continue to inspire our work. 💔

In the middle of a highly competitive UPSL season, where Coach Muhammed is a starting player and Coach Sulayman “Coach Paboy” Ceesay leads as Head Coach, they are still making time to give back to the next generation.

Folonko coaches have officially teamed up with Bellevue School District to launch a FREE after-school technical skills program, focusing on footwork, discipline, and opportunity for youth who deserve access—not just talent.
